Houston Rockets Toyota Arena

    The Houston Rockets Toyota Arena covered 6 Downtown Blocks and include a Tunnel with the capacity of accepting a yearly herd of elephants. The Arena covered a record four City Blocks and extended two Basement Levels nearly twenty feet below the groundwater level. Drilled Pier Soldier  Piles formed the basement wall and supported exterior structural loads at cost savings approaching combined design fees.

    Ulrich Engineers, Inc. served  as dewatering designers, basement damp proofing consultants/designers, construction engineers, and general geotechnical consultants in review.  We prepared all of the underground project specifications for construction.
